Other info: These are seedlings from seeds harvested from 'Olive Bailey Langdon' which is a very large leafed hosta. I have a couple other very nice newer hybrid hostas growing next to Olive that bloom at the same time, so not sure if there was cross pollination or if just self pollination.
2009/2010 NOTE: Have been disappointed that although *all* the hostas growing in vacinity have variegated foliage, and even with hand pollination, thus far none of the seedlings have had variegated foliage. I don't know if this happens in the second year of growth, or if it should appear in the first year growth.
