Other info: This is said to be a tremendous improvement over 'Husker Red'. 'Dark Towers' produces pink flowers (instead of white on 'Husker Red') and is a deep wine purple and supposed to keep its color throughout the season whereas 'Husker Red' foliage can fade from a deep red-purple in spring to green in summer heat. 2012 will be my first year to try this plant, and hopefully I will not forget to plant a couple
