Tansy vulgare.......PLANT.......Tanacetum vulgare

Common Names: Common Tansy, Bitter Buttons, Cow Bitter, Mugwort, or Golden Buttons.
Flower Color: Yellow
Height: 48" to 60"
Light: Full Sun to Part Shade
Zone: 4-8
Water: Average
Soil: Average to Rich
Maintenance: Low
Other info: This plant sometimes gets very tall and always seems to flop. I found that using the large tomato cages works great and the foliage of the plant generally covers the cage to in the summer you don't even see the cage. Tansy flowers are great in fresh and dried flower arrangements.

ALL PLANTS (with the exception of lisianthus), MUST NOW BE ORDERED FROM THE MAIN PLANT PAGE BASED ON MY WORK LOAD (updating hundreds of web pages): http://www.tsflowers.com/plants.html

See Main Plant Page for pot/plant size, and other possible notes. I dig and divide these plants from my garden. ~ Based on work load, I have recently decided to dig and pot only a few plants, if any (especially those of low sellers), unless the order is received and paid for by April 1st. ~ If you are visiting this page in spring after that date, it is possible these plants are not available or that they would be dug and shipped bare root. ~ I usually get very busy during spring plant season, and since I do my own web work, I sometimes do not have time to get a page updated when a plant item is sold out or not available.
