For interest, use 'Royal Candles' with red flowered and white flowered Heuchera (coral bells) for a red, white and blue garden. German statice adds white about the same time before opening its buds. Red yarrow is also good for red. Have a look: Red/White/Blue This area wasn't created as such, but I just happened to take a photo when most plants in the area were in bloom and noticed how folks could make a red white blue combo garden. Only thing is, is bloom is late May, early June instead of July.
