Other info: This is just a standard pink flowering weigela. The flowers are beautiful and make excellent cut flowers for large bouquets. I surrounded my weigela plant by peonies and although the peonies weren't in bloom in the photo, they did bloom while the weigela was still in bloom. This weigela would look great combined with dark colored peonies, like Karl Rosenfeld.
Plants for sale for 2009 were cuttings taken in fall of 2007. They are fully one-year old and have wintered in their quart size containers. Very nice plants.
