Germination: Slightly difficult. Sow seed in container on good seed starting mix. Cover seeds with mix. Place container inside sandwich baggie to retain moisture. Place container in location at 64-71°F for 2-4 weeks, then move container to 24-39°F for 4-6 weeks (in the freezer), then move container to 41-53°F (refrigerator) where seeds will germinate. Remove container from refrigerator after 4-6 weeks. (Using the paper towel, baggie method works well.)
-Or-, placing container after the initial 2-4 weeks at 64-71°F temperatures in an outdoor sheltered location in winter when temperatures are still freezing works well. Seeds should begin germinating when temperatures begin to warm.
