Other info: Makes a very nice cut flower. This is seed harvested from Caryopteris 'Blue Myth' plants.   I think the 'Blue Myth' plants are a bit shorter and more compact than 'Longwood Blue' that I generally harvest from.  Also, I think the blue flower color is deeper on this variety.   Not sure yet about their hardiness as I planted them in 2009, so I'll see how they winter over this winter.

Germination: Easy germination. Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last spring frost. Sow seed on good seed starting mix and cover seeds lightly. Place container in a location at 68-70°F. Moisten mix. Germination should begin in 10-12 days. Or direct sow seeds to garden or flower bed location in late fall or early spring.
