Germination: Seeds are best sown (winter sown) in large pots or direct to flower bed location in September. Germination would take place late winter, early spring; late March or April. Alternatively, sow in container (place container inside sandwich baggie to retain moisture) and place container in the refrigerator for *at least* eight (8) weeks, up to 16 weeks as germination occurs at temperatures under 45°F.
