Germination: Slightly difficult. Start indoors 10-12 weeks prior to last spring frost. Sow seed in container on surface of good seed starting mix. Cover seeds with mix. Moisten. Place container inside a sandwich baggie and in a location at 68-70°F for one week. Then place container in refrigerator for 30 days, then move container to a location at 68-70°F where germination should begin in 10-30 days. Alternatively: place container in a sheltered location outdoors in late winter to early spring, checking for germination as weather warms. (It appears this seed germinates best after cold treatment, but then with fluctuating temperatures.)
