Other info: Plants will bloom the first year from seed. Remove spent flowers and/or prune vines lightly for a second flush of autumn blooms. -- I thought that the plants I was growing would be 'Pink Pearl', when I found after growing commercial seeds from 'Red Pearl', that my garden plants are actually 'Red Pearl' which is a very deep pink and not actually red as I had hoped.

Germination: Easy germination. Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last spring frost. Soak seeds 24 hours in warm water. Sow seed in container on good seed starting mix. Cover seed with mix. Moisten mix, and keep moist until germination begins. Place container in cool location at 60°F to 65°F. Germination should begin in 7-10 days.
