Germination: Slightly difficult. Seed said to germinate at (appx) 40°F. I haven't tried germinating any seed, but the plants definitely self sow. So my suggestion for germination would be winter sowing. In mid to late winter when temperatures are 40°F (or even below) sow seeds in container with good drainage. Place container in an outdoor sheltered location and water weekly if needed. Check for germination when temperatures begin to warm in spring.
