Light: Full sun or light shade

Once again I was unable to hand pollinate flowers in 2010 as I had done in the past.   Therefore, I had no harvest of the blues and purples.   But quite unusual, all harvest is from three clumps of white siberian iris.   If these are anything like some of my other plants (for instance, phlox, buddleia, hibiscus) you will get very few white flowers.   However, if in Siberian Iris whites produce whites, then these will probably produce mostly white flowered plants since this is a late flowering variety that is usually in flower *after* all my other blues and purples have finished (or almost finished) blooming.

(Input number of packets into checkbox -- $1.00 per packet)
[15 seeds per packet]
Germination: Slightly difficult germination. Sow seeds in container on good seed starting mix. Cover seeds lightly, leaving portions of the seed exposed as light aids germination. Place container in location at 68-70°F. Germination should begin in 2-5 weeks. My seeds have seemed to germinate best by winter sowing -- placing the container in an outdoor sheltered location in late winter.
