|Germination: Difficult. Start seed indoors 8-10 weeks prior to last spring frost. Sow seeds in between layers of paper towel (or in coffee filter). Moisten paper towel (or coffee filter). Place paper towel inside sandwich baggie. Mark date on outside of baggie with sharpie marker. Place baggie in the refrigerator for at least 60 days, 90 is better. Moniter the baggie every 30 days for moisture. If paper towel has dried out, re-moisten. Then move baggie to a location at 68-70°F. Seeds should begin germinating in 30-90 days. [Patience required.] Or, seeds may be winter sown in February/March for growing zones 5, 6 and 7.
