Other info: An excellent fresh cut flower and very nice dried. The 'Century' Series is a taller plumosa variety that can be more easily geared for cut flower production.

Above photo is of the 'Castle' mix, which I think is basically the same as the 'Century' mix except that the stems are longer on 'Century', therefore better for cutting purposes.

Germination: Easy germination. Start indoors 2-4 weeks prior to last spring frost. Sow seed in container on good seed starting mix. Cover seeds lightly. Moisten mix and keep mix moist until germination begins. Place container in a location at 70°F. Germination should begin in 6-10 days. May also be direct seeded to garden location after last spring frost, however, I find I contend with more weeds when I direct sow.
