Light: Grown as indoor pot plants. Commercial supplier indicates that plants should be protected from strong sunlight -- other information I have read indicates they need bright light, but also need to be kept out of direct sunlight. ??
Water: Moist, but do not overwater.
Soil: Rich, use a balanced fertilizer regularly after plants are established.
Other info: Plants are generally disgarded after blooming.

Germination: Fairly easy germination. Start at anytime indoors 16-18 weeks prior to hopeful flowers. Sow seed in container on good (sterile) seed starting mix. Do not cover seeds -- light required for best germination. Moisten mix and keep mix moist until germination begins. Place container in a location at 70-75°F, and maintain those temperatures constantly. Germination should begin in 10-14 days. (For best results, do no pinch and feed moderately. When plants are well established, reduce night temperatures to 50-55°F to encourage uniform bud set.)
