Spread: 8" to 10"
Flower color: Red
Bloom time: Summer
Light: Full sun

Germination: Slightly difficult germination. Sow seed 4-6 weeks prior to last spring frost. Sow seed in container on good seed starting mix, covering seed. Moisten. Place container inside sandwich baggie and in refrigerator for 3-5 days. Then alternate temperatures between 68°F night to 85°F day. (A heat mat turned on during the day and turing it off at night works well.) Germination should begin in 7-14 days. Alternately, place container outside in early spring when weather is still very cool, or direct sow to garden location in early spring. Seed will germinate as weather warms.
