Type: Annual
Common Names:
Height: 30" to 36"
Spread: 8" to 10"
Flower color: Shades of Yellow-Gold and Burgundy/Brown with quilled petals in single and double flower forms.
Bloom time: Summer through Autumn
Light: Full sun or light shade
Zone: 4-8
Water: Average
Soil: Average to Rich
Maintenance: For new plants, do not remove spent blooms for self-sowing purposes.
Other info: Plants will bloom the first year from seed. Thompson & Morgan, the creator of this hybrid Rudbeckia lists it as an annual. However, my plants have lived and bloomed for two years. Although they are probably short lived, they self sow as most Rudbeckias do. This is an excellent cut flower!
